Mailpilot AI ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. We only collect the absolute minimum data necessary for the extension to function:

• Email Context: We read the content of the currently open email thread only when you explicitly click the "Generate Reply" button.
• API Keys: Authentication keys (OpenRouter, Google Gemini, Supabase) provided by you.
• Settings: Your selected tone preferences, prompt instructions, and local Knowledge Base settings.

2. How We Store Your Data

Your data belongs to you. All API keys, settings, and configurations are stored securely and locally on your own device using the Chrome Local Storage API. We do not maintain centralized databases of your personal emails or API keys.

3. How We Use Your Data

The data accessed by Mailpilot AI is strictly used for the single purpose of generating context-aware email replies.

• Cloud Models (OpenRouter / Gemini): If you choose cloud models, your email text is securely transmitted to the respective API endpoint solely for processing the reply. We do not intercept or store this transit.
• Local Models (Ollama): If you use local Ollama models, your email data is processed 100% offline on your own machine. It never leaves your computer.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

We strictly adhere to the Google Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies.

• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use or transfer your data for unrelated purposes or advertising.
• We do not use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new features. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
